We were previously with one of the big banks, we were going to renew with them online but decided to wait till closer to the renewal date. Closer to the renew we starting getting phone calls from the big bank to renew our mortgage. We set up a meeting via phone call eventually. The representative from the big bank was unprofessional and rude. The representative then offered his 'lowest possible rate' which turned out to be a full 1% point higher than or previous renewal start online. It was at that point we started looking around and got in contact with Jeremy. He was very quick in turnaround to get us a rate 0.5% lower than the initial rate we found online, with a lower monthly payment and saved us thousands of dollars in our 5 year fix rate mortgage.
